SBS to use new technology to broadcast 2022 Qatar World Cup

According to broadcasters on the 20th, broadcasters introduced various new technologies and organized special programs to deliver hot news of the World Cup.

First of all, SBS will provide broadcasting about 10 seconds faster than before by applying low-latency streaming technology to official mobile applications.

It will also introduce a multi-audio streaming broadcast that allows you to listen to various audio in real time depending on your taste. You can choose "Commentary Mode" when you need vivid commentary, "On-site Mode" when you want to focus only on the game, and "English Mode" when you want to listen to local English broadcasts.

KBS to use AI technology 'Football AI' to provide results for predicting the outcome of the match 

 

KBS provides the results of game prediction using its artificial intelligence technology "Football AI." It cooperated with Aimbroad, a digital soccer entertainment solution provider.


"Football AI" analyzes each team's attack patterns based on actual data from numerous soccer matches and structures the results with digital codes. Based on this, it analyzes each team's attack and effective tactics, attack success rate, shot success rate, and total tactics in real time and presents the expected score of each team.


MBC has prepared a virtual world where people can enjoy the World Cup in Qatar. In cooperation with Sandbox Network, the company has created a variety of virtual spaces including a Qatar World Cup stadium, players' locker rooms, and MBC sports relay seats on its metaverse platform Roblox.

MBC's "Dreams Come True Again"

MBC has set up "Qatarsis," which analyzes the matches to be played at the Qatar World Cup in advance. It delivers news on the national team and analyzes its performance in each match.
